Wrong Information: DS-3032 email template.

The NVC operator told me NOT to include the NOA receipt number for the DS-3032 email because all they want is your NVC case number!

I think maybe somebody should edit this LingChe email template ASAP, or am I missing something?

yes I know... but I really don't think it's needed.

I wish somebody would post the official instructions from the NVC.

I was right. there is no such thing:

"To view the status of a case, please enter the corresponding application receipt number. The 13-character application receipt number can be found on application notices you have received from the USCIS."

I'd also like to hear from someone who has used the email template, while having a minor CR-2 case involved, of how to word it. I have one ready, and I'll try to send it to NVC when the time comes. Anyone done this already??
