It's not really the same as killing 6 people though. That's like comparing a near miss in your car to a mass pile up...

Skill of the shooter shouldn't decide what's newsworthy and what's not.

The only real difference between the two stories is that the Wisconsin incident occurred in a place of worship.

And despite all the leftist bs about a post-religious era and how unimportant faith is or should be.... that matters. It matters a lot.

I got ya. So it's only news worthy if several people got killed by the same person, and that person who kills them just so happens to be white. THEN it's news worthy.

However if multiple people are shot and live, or multiple people are shot and killed in a city but by different shooters and the shooter(s) is/are NOT white, then it's not news.

Thanks so much for clearing that up!

You forgot about the cop in critical condition. That's a major difference in my mind. Cops don't take kindly to their own being attacked.

A possible racist attack on a place of worship is far more interesting than a family feud where no one died. I'm sure that happens in every city every day. :P

Even if that hadn't happened, this would still be big news because it occurred at a place of worship.

Probably, the cop adds fuel to the fire though.

I'll be interested to hear what they find out about this nutjob. My first reaction was that he confused them with Muslims. I saw that suggested in the other thread too, what do you think about that? Or do you think he was angry with anyone who wasn't from America and wasn't white?

His girlfriend dumped him a few weeks ago and he saw her talking to the Sikh gas station attendant.

Sounds like the most probable motive so far
