Flooding in Manila and How it Affects Visa Interviews Scheduled

Hi guys,

Last week I saw in the news that Roxas Blvd was flooded due to the heavy rains. Now, I have read that Pagasa raised the red warning for Metro Manila stating that heavy to intense rainfall will continue. I was just wondering if this is the case and Roxas Blvd is flooded again, do they usually suspend interviews scheduled for the day? I asking because my interview is coming up real soon and I'm curious if they do reschedule interviews if this is the case.

And the rain was coming down real heavy today. I could hear it while talking to my fiancee on Skype. And she says they expect rain to continue tomorrow.

This typhoon is coming out of china. Ema is doing her medical mon and tues. She also said it was pouring. She goes back for her interview next week. Hope it will all clear out soon. Almost back to back storm systems. Last week, now this one.

May 9, 11. Met on dating site Filipinacupid

chat 2x a day since

Dec 23, 11. met in Cebu, traveled to Balamban.

Dec 25th 11 asked her fathers permission to marry her in Cebuano. Engaged.

Jan 1, 12. Came home.

Jan 18th 12, I-129f recieved at vsc

Jan 25th 12, first noa

Feb 9 12, touched

July 2, 12 approved

July 7, 12 recieved noa2

July 16th, called nvc recieved case #

Aug 1st, CFO completed

Aug 16th, Interview date and Approved

July 23'12 USCIS received Application(Priority date)

July 26'12 Check cash out/got txt@email,received my application

July 30'12 received mail NOA1(AOS/EAD/AP)

Aug.22'12 Biometrics done(Detroit,MI)

Sept.19 USCIS mailed a noticed they approved my Travel Docs.

Sept.20 EAD card on production(approved in 60 days!)

Sept.25 USPS pick up mail from USCIS(EAD card on the way!)

Sept.27 EAD card received.

Sept 28 went to SSOffice for name change on SSN card.

Oct 05'12 Got my new SSN card.

April 16'13 USCIS emailed Case Status:Card/Document Production.

April 20'13 Recieved mail from USCIS welcome notice.

April 22'13 USCIS email that USPS picked up mail containing my GC.

April 25'13 Green Card on hand,finally!...

The rains and winds are extremely bad here right now. It would be tough to get around right now. All I could get out of the local news was that schools are all closed today and they closed government buildings early yesterday so the employee's could make it home safe. There are very many with out power as well. I will be calling the embassy in 30 minutes and I will see if they are open today.

Yes I am here. I came 2 weeks before our interview date to try and get an earlier date. Looks like we won't be fortunate enough to get an earlier appointment now, just have to hope for approval and fast 2GO service.

I am here in the middle of the floods in Metro-Manila and the floods are huge!!!...The US Embassy in Manila is closed for the day and all Philippine government schools, and offices are closed since yesterday. I am sure that interviews would be rescheduled; those for yesterday's and today. You have to make sure that your phone numbers are accurate, and or your email address.
