DS-230 and James shortcuts

I received IV fee bill today in the mail for IR1. On top of the second page it says

"When we receive your immigrant visa fees, we will send you the immigrant visa application (form DS-230 part I) along with further instructions. Return only the original application that we send to you. Do not use downloaded computer forms."

Is it a new wording or has it always been there? In that case, how can we use the James shortcuts and send in the downloaded forms once we come to know that the fee is processesed.

This also means that I need to send in the original forms to my wife and get it filled and signed.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Not new. That is standard and using the downloaded forms have been used successfully by many many members for as long as I've known. It is to stop people using outdated forms downloaded from outside sources/sites.

I agree with Aussie there, we used the shortcuts and it worked successfully
