Hello, I am preparing my reply to packet 3 at the moment and I have a question regarding point 1 and 2 of the list that has been posted in here ...

What to send to your fiance(e) once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2):

1.A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one).

2.Send all originals of the documentary proof that you submitted for the I-129F to your fiance(e) for their interview at the embassy.

It seems to be the case that the procedures have changed since May, but the German embassy website doesn't seem to be updated fully yet. And now I am a bit confused. I just wanna be sure to do everything correctly...

What confuses me now is the thing with the original petition and the originals of the documentary proof of the original petition in the list above. What do I need this for? Do I have to send it in with my packet 3 as well?

Furthermore, I would like to know if I have to send originals of the proofs of our ongoing relationship together with the packet 3 reply, like boarding passes, concert tickets and the like, or if copies will suffice. Is it correct if I prepare something that looks like the original petition we sent in? We have included copies of everything in the original petition (copied tickets, boarding passes etc. together on pages) back then.

So far, I am going to send the requested forms (I will do all 4 of them, just to be sure), the payment slip for the visa fee, the checklist, copies and originals of birth cert and police report, the prepaid DHL label the I-134 with connected docs in duplicate, photographs, and then our pics, emails, whatsapp messages, skype logs, boarding passes, concert tix etc...The copy of the NOA2, passport pics from me, and the letter of intent, renewed and signed form each of us(with no address on it, since we haven't found out where to address it to).

Are we set with that?

Have a good day and thanks for helping :)

I still don't know why everyone relies so much on VJ.

Just send them everything that's on the checklist.

No whole copy of the initial I-129F package needed. If they did need it, it would be listed on the checklist.

Include some proof of ur relationship with pack 3 as well. Try to send originals.

Well, vj is a good source, and so far it has helped us a lot  But I agree, too much info can be too much sometimes. I was just nervous because I read that the rules have been changed. But as I see you've been there just shortly ago and seem to have been successful  Congrats!

So yeah, I'm going to stick with the list and keep it simple, like you suggested. My god, I'll be so glad after we have made it through this bureaucratic jungle!

No doubt, it is a good source.

But there are a lot of things that are country-specific so u can't rely on VJ 100 %.

Before April 2012 u had to take all the documents to the interview, now u have to send them to the consulate in advance before u even get an interview date. That's really the only thing they have changed. Nothing regarding documents though.

U'll be fine, trust me!
