Expiry dates on forms

Hi all,

I have been lurking around the forum for 2 year, and am going to start my K1-visa application journey now.

I noticed the forms on G-325A for example, has a expiry date "08/31/2012" which is very soon (Screenshot as attached)

I'm concern that if:

1) I send the form on the 8/30/2012, and it reaches the center after the expiry date. Will my application be invalid?

2) I send the form after 8/31/2012 the intended expiry date, will my application be denied?

Thanks in advance for the helpful community!

Cheers,

Aiiko

You just send whatever is the most updated form on the USCIS website, even if it is expired. The most they might do is RFE you for a new form if by some miracle they come out with a new one immediately.

In addition it states in the directions for the form that previous editions are accepted.

If it is the current form available on the USCIS website, then it is the one to use. It doesn't matter what the expiration date at the top of the form says. The edition date is found at the bottom of the form, which is 'Rev. 08/08/11' and on the USCIS website it states:

"Edition Date :

08/08/11. Previous editions accepted."
