Hi. Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place. I could not figure out how to post a topic in the Philippines Portal.

My fiancee and I have an intact K-1 Visa for her to come to the US to marry me.

We're also in the process of filing a Consular Report of Birth Abroad / Passport Application for our baby girl. They've accepted a lot of the evidence and documents required that we presented them, but she's been sent home a second time now...citing a need for additional evidence of relationship prior to conception and/or DNA testing.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Her K-1 Visa expires in October so she has to (basically) move to the US at that time. If she goes, would the baby have to stay behind? It's a horrible thought.

We're worried sick.

Thanks.

Hello there,

Much better for you guys to have your baby girl have her DNA test. Mine took less than 2 months so you better hurry to get a DNA testing lab there in the USA so US embassy can give you an appointment in St. Lukes, cause the testing will be conducted with ST. Lukes representative. And mostly it takes a month for St. Lukes to schedule you an appointment. If you need some info on what I did with my son's CRBA you can pm me. But i will reply you maybe tomorrow cause its already late at night here.

God Bless you .

Aileen
