Hi All!

I've been learning alot from this forum which I greatly appreciate. We're on Month 3 of waiting and I have noticed that Vermont is lagging behind in processing. Has anyone been approved by them recently? How long was the wait for you? I won't see my man will September and I am losing my mind with the waiting and the missing him like crazy malarky.

Mostly I just wanted to vent but if anyone has been approved by Vermont on here, let a girl know. I have seen more approvals from California around these parts.

Have posted same question several times without response. My thoughts they are voting Republican and funding and staff have been reduced so we all will put pressure to vote Dem. in three months. :help: They were in position to win the gold in March when we applied for NOA! but don't think they will make the semi's in this Olympic year. We have our time table and they have theirs and I think they are still in charge so we just need to be patient and wait. I am sure there is a reason for no explanation and that they are doing the best with the resources they have. They have just gotten behind and difficult to catch up.

I am prepared to wait for 7 months if VSC take that long to approve our petition or send us RFE.

Hi there! Yes we have been approved 4 days ago, after 195 days at VSC... long wait but after you get your NOA2 it is such an amazing feeling that straight away you forget about all this nightmare you have been through! It's all worth the wait :) stay strong and positive! It's a long journey but rewarding... I haven't seen my man in 6 months and seeing him again in September too, been through all possible emotions and I have realized I had a lot more strength than I originally thought :) all the best and a speedy approval!

Sabi and I have the exact same timeline and I completely agree with her about how it feels. I will say this: stop looking at approvals from Cali. It drove me crazy and seeing 30, 60 and 90 day approvals while I waited about 6.5 months. Just look at VSC processing and find the May filers thread on VJ (if you haven't already) so you can get some support from those in the same situation as you. Those things really helped me get through it.

Good luck and speedy approvals for all!

Looks like 6 to 7 months is the norm for the present time, but it is dynamic so who knows what tomorrow brings? :pop:

In the last week it seems there have been more approvals coming from Vermont than the glacially slow trickle of June and July...I am very hopeful it is a sign of things to come.

Oh and keep in mind, the folks you called "lucky" at CSC had a 6 month wait when I first filed... then POW, things started moving big time over there. I remember telling my fiance when we got our NOA1, "thank god we are not at CSC." I am eating my words :pop:now....
