I agree with you. It is really furious to let VSC petitioners waiting and waiting for over six months, some even seven months while CSC only takes 3 months. We paid the SAME FEE!!!! At least get us back on track.

We also already tried congressman and senator, but it seems not working at all at VSC at this point. Shall we pressure VSC in another ways - media, contact USCIS director. If emailing Obama would work, I'd love to do that to end this endless waiting!

God bless all of our VSC applicants!!!!

YEA!!!!! Vermont jumped 7 days forward in processing dates today!!!!!!!! California just 2 days. The olympics are now on between Vermont and California. To keep our minds busy each guess a date the two will intersect processing dates. If Vermont can keep this marathon jump they will overtake California in 8 days. There is a GOD. Place your bets and hope they continue to advance like today!!!!!! Can't believe I am writing this. Crazy?? YES definitely without a doubt this process is making me more crazy.-:) Think positive and only good will come from this right thinking. The Budda

Opps I was looking at K-3's by mistake. Two days for Calif. and one day only for K-1's for Vermont. I will still think POSITIVE!!

We are currently at 127 days since our NOA1. We have not been watching the days too closely because for the last 3 months we have been planning for a trip together in the Dominican with all of my children and then taking that trip for the month of July...(It was wonderful! My children all love Zhenya more than I could have hoped for and she loves them just as much!) - But now we are separated again, she is back in Russia and my children and I are back in PA. This morning, I decided to begin to research exactly when Vermont would likely give us the NOA2...all of this time I was thinking in the back of my head it would be the first week of September...So, as all of you know, this morning it was like getting hit in the face with a frying pan when I realized after reading all of your posts that it will more likely be Mid October. WOW! I spent a few hours this morning working and processing this new information...basically getting a bit depressed realizing that I may not have my angel here for Christmas after all...Finally, I sat down and did the math based on Igor's statistics and averages (adding extra days for vermont) and I wrote down some new dates...October 16th for NOA2 target and December 19th for new Interview target. I was really surprised. Once I wrote these down and digested them for a few minutes, I began to feel much better. It's always interesting in life when you make a sincere adjustment to your expectations to more clearly match reality, somehow you begin to feel better. My sweet girl will be here...it will still be soon...I love her...I can wait...it will be worth it...we have the rest of our lives to laugh about these little delays. So, I hope Vermont picks up speed...but if they don't, I'm going to stay positive and happy knowing that the woman of my dreams will be with me soon and I will stay focused on that alone. I'm sure you are all ahead of me in this realization, but I thought I'd share my thoughts anyway.

I hope everyone gets processed quickly!!!

I remember reading in Gary's interview with VSC director that if one center falls behind then they could shift petitions to the other center...It just boggles the mind why some Vermont petitions are not being shifted to California.

Its very frustrating seeing all the excited posts about approvals and inevitably opening the post and seeing the service center is California...

Well, we hit 186 days since our NOA1 tomorrow. I wrote the congressman and two days ago they sent VSC a service request for us. Yet, still I can see our visa hasn't been touched in six months... I'm glad some of you can accept it and take it stride because I can't. Having our lives on hold, waiting to get married and have our children. It's frustrating and at 31 years old I'm ready to do those things with my fiancé. This whole thing with VSC makes me ill. And, yes, I'm sure whoever is in charge is well aware at VSC's failings.

I understand your pain and anger, since we are all the same. My fiance even received an mail responded by VSC from our congressman (We contacted our congressman on July 25th) that "Due to workload priorities this application is still considered normal processing time". This is way too absurd. And we both feel disappointed by US immigration policy and bureaucracy at VSC.

Most important part is my fiance already moved to California in May. If we were able to transfer our application to California, probably we already get our NOA2 by now. It is so ridiculous that they would rather on hold instead of transferring files to CSC.

I have done an I-129F statistics calculation from USCIS website today. Seems they are currently working on Feb 6 (Receiving date from USCIS website) applications the most, and as of today, still 40 Feb6 applications pending out of 105 applications. No idea if your receipt NO is falling under this range. Hope you can get it in one week.

I'm not sure how you figured that out, but Feb. 6th is exactly our date so this knowledge puts my mind at ease a bit. Let's hope it comes in the next few days. How frustrating... It's too bad you both didn't file in California. It's hard to see all the happy couples from there cheering over their quick NOA2s... I want to be happy for them but I feel envious. :(

I was comparing VSC applications to CSC applications and was wondering why so many applications are being sent to VSC? If they are so far behind then why is USCIS bombarding them with more and more applications? Is VSC a lot larger than CSC? Because they are getting more at least 20 more applications per month than CSC. I'm not complaining just wondering why they have more application when they are so far behind. I am hoping they are a lot larger than CSC maybe that would give all of us Vermont filers some hope.

I live in this state, so I now know that Vermont is a sizable immigration-relocation spot for those seeking refuge and asylum. I don't have any special knowledge, it's just something I've learned from living around here, but I thought it might partially address your question and the comments of many posters below.

I don't know what difference there is/should be between the whole Vermont Service Centre and the St. Albans office, either.

Good luck!

More good news :wow:

CBS news tonight....1.5 million illegal aliens line up in front of immigration offices to get free pass extended by President Obama. No fees, no financial support, no marriage and on and on. I feel like filing a class action law suit to recover the travel expenses, fees to service centers, time wasted and could continue my rant but it is the golden rule " the man with the gold rules". This has got to be a real black eye to our hard working immigration service employees to have a man in an election year pandering to the voting illegals when only 3 in 4 of our legal tax paying citizens that have graduated from college can secure a job. Soon we will add 1.5 million illegal immigrants competing for the few jobs available. We are having to show proof we can support our beneficiary, back accounts, assets, proof of meeting, and we must agree to get married and provide support for the the rest of his or her life. This Dream Act-Obama requires no financial support, no marriage,,,,NOTHING!!!!!! Is this part of Obama care economics that we now will save money by adding 1.5 million illegals to Social Security, Disability and the benefits of his health plan pain for by US tax payers since they were born citizens.???????We have to interview and have extensive and expensive background checks and wait patiently in line with all the other applicants that have filed legally to become US citizens. If they need provide nothing to show they can support themselves why are we putting our lives on the line with our assets and agreeing to marry in 90 days??? Really simple question but above our people in Washington. Only 47% of legal US Americans are choosing to marry today.....Does anyone else see the disconnect that has taken place under our nose. When will we take this country back??? This is no longer a country run by the people for the people. Can you tell I am past furious?? and I feel our rights as citizens have been violated since we choose the legal path. Does anyone know how to tweet Obama this rant? If you look at the number of applications each year at the service centers it is so small compared to the number of applications as a result of the Dream Act-Obama. They should go to the end of the line like we do if it takes 10 years but Obama needs the votes so we get to be the ones that wait and pay the fees. We have two choices, bad and worse (for president) You decide. I understand VSC is the only one that can process the Syrian and the Dream Act. I may not have that fact correct. If possible pleeeeese VSC ship some apps to CSC or just open the door and do away with the fees and the interviews and the requirement to marry and let us bring our beneficiary in the US same as this bunch. NOW!! Who thinks that will happen?

take a good look at where the service center is located.....if it ain't at the end of the world, land of the dueling banjos, where the sun don't shine, inbredville, etc....then I don't know how you'd describe it.

a new service center needs to be opened somewhere closer to civilization where a larger labor pool is available and there is more dependable infrastructure...boston, new york, philly, dc, richmond, atlanta, etc..

and then vsc needs to be closed and everybody fired, forever.

I don't really understand what many of you are talking about when you value CSC over VSC... It is pretty easy to find a lot of people like me in these forums , that are totally frustrated with the results at CSC... Most of them are waiting at least for EIGHT MONTHS... Believe me, when talking about inefficiency, all of them are the same...
