According to your timeline, your I-129 petition should be adjudicated in about 4 weeks. However, this is just a guideline, not an absolute.

The last couple of months were the hardest for us also.

Good luck, it seems you don't have much longer.

Though you still haven't gotten NOA2, once you do, your case will be transferred to the NVC (for quick processing [hopefully], then on to the Lagos embassy. :guides: In particular, the K-1 flowchart to get an idea of the future activities and estimated time frames.

If you haven't done so already, it may be wise to start acquainting yourselves with the forum information about the Lagos embassy and start watching the sub-Saharan Africa regional forum for recent news about interviews, events, information.

Good luck on your visa journey.

Spend the time reading a good book about things to do locally. Clean out "his" ha;f of the closet. Get him a warm jacket for when he arrives, I don't know of any Nigerian that didn't find the US cold the first winter.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

I have not been myself since today. He birthday is Sept 19th and I want him to be here with me. How long will this take ?? I need my nod2 pls

First of all welcome to VJ. I am truly sorry that you are feeling this sad, but being realistic and patient will be helpful. It will be a while before he is here even if your Visa Journey moves at a miraculous speed. You would benefit if you try to keep yourself busy and keep up with your social life. Join some support groups which are out there that can be of support to you in this process.

This too shall pass and one day you will look back and smile! Good luck!
