Just wanted to publicly whine that because Wes' namecheck is STILL not done, yesterday we filed for a renewal of his EAD.

How hard is it to check the background of a guy who lived two places his whole life?

Or is it just because our last name is the same as a cartoon...............

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

I know where you are coming from, it's been 18 months since k-1 started and I have not even got an interview yet applied for the aos in May, all I can say is look at the guy sitting next to you and enjoy he is here and the rest will come in due course.

Does'nt really make you feel better I know but its just my little words of wisdom

LOL....scotty your words do help. Especially coming from you, as you know I'm very familiar with your 'journey'.

I'm just sick sick sick to death of feeling like our relationship and life is beholdin' to the US government. We need permission to work, permission to move, permission to stay permanently. I wouldn't be so damn frustrated about it if we hadn't done everything legally and in the proper windows of time. But we have, paying all the proper fees that go along with compliance.

When you play by all the rules of the game, why should it take so long to expect some semblance of normalcy for your life?

Is it not possible for everyone on this site to write a letter to the omnibusman just to highlight every adverse thing thats wrong with the system i.e.

1/ the fact that a name check can lie on someones desk or screen after getting clearence from the FBI and if they don't bother to check,it could be there indefinately

2/ the fact that some cases don't even get a interview but they are approved

3/ the fact that if something is lost by them and you have proof of said paperwork being sent they still

insist on you sending copies. The list I'm sure could be more indepth with a little thought and help from the more senior members.

I know many will say it won't make any differance but surely the amount of letters he would get would make him at least check into it in some way or another,

Regards Scotty
