This should be fine for K1. We did exactly the same thing. I reprinted my electronic versions of my tax returns and used them.

coz i only have his original bank statement. letter of employment..recent paychecks.. but the only scanned documents are birth certificate and income tax statement so im worried if this would be an issue in CO .. ,my fiance is making sure not to send thos kind of documents via post mail coz it might get lost or stolen since its private,he also said that i should say that originals were sent in uscis when we file the petition ..i can tell that to the consul or mybe not if this will give them a negative feedback about us.. pls give us some advice if we are doing fine in all our documents..pls help :/

Should not be an issue.

On another note, if you fill out your timeline and information such as country etc.... your post could appear in your regional forum and people who have gone through the process in your country could add to this comment. Each consulate can vary. It would be wise of you to fill out that information.

All you need is the original I-134 and perhaps letter from his employer. You should send copies of almost everything else, including the tax return documents.
