Hello all,

My wife received the following e-mail yesterday and I'm not sure or not if it means the I-485 has been approved. I saw some of the wording approvals from this site and none of the wording was identical to this document. Has anyone received a document with the following wording and does it mean we have been approved and she will be receiving her green card?

thanks in advance for your knowledge and feedback!

Ya I agree that it sounds like an approval and you should be getting a green card in the mail shortly ... But I have to agree that I don't think I have seen anyone post one with the same wording as yours before on VJ ...

I've seen that one once before...and it does seem odd. But, seems lately the emails sent out by the USCIS for approvals are a tad bit confusing. Why not just plainly say approved or not. Plain and simple.

That is not an approval! I got the same message about a month ago. It means that they resend you something which could not be delivered before. Even though the hotline people will tell you approved, your case is not.

I got an RFE that could not be delivered before (which I obtained through Infopass only) and to which we responed already, it was meaningless.

Good luck though. If you really wanna know what it is, schedule an Infopass asap.
