How long does the Biometric take?

I just received a notice that I have a Biometrics appointment next Thursday at 11 AM. Can someone tell me how long it takes? I can't take a day off, probably just a few hours. Will I wait for long over there? Thanks.

mine only took about 10 - 15 mins...they take your fingerprints and photo thats it..

also depends on how many are in front of you too.. we arrived about 10mins before the appointment and filled out the form and then i was called into another part of the office an done.. my husband took the day off from work...he didnt need to but he needed a day off lol

i was in and out in 15 minutes in Birmingham, AL. i interacted with about 5 different people whil i was there and they were all friendly and nice. i was very impressed

Ya it was rather quick ... I ended up at the back of the line ... My appointment was at 8:00am and we were finished and back in the car by 8:45am ... I suggest you be there about 15 minutes before your appointment and that should put you near the front of the line ...

And all of the people working there were very nice and efficient ...

Ditto to everyone else...Joel had his in Atlanta and the drive down was longer than the time we were there.

depends on the office I think. I had to wait several hours for mine in Charlotte. Plus the drive down there and back, it ate up the entire day.

Hello, I was afraid that it would take hours for my biometric but at the end it only took 15 minutes. They had a good system where everyone was taken in processed, printed and done with in smooth process. The fingerprinting is easy. It’s a big machine where it scans your prints. Just make sue you have no cuts on your fingers and your skin is not too chapped. I but lotion on my hands for a week before my appointment and was very careful with any cutting or cooking. Good luck

Why do they keep wanting photos? We are already provide 2 passport style photos with the application. Oh well, my wife has her appointment on Wednesday at 9 AM.
