Hi all.... I would like to know of any success with an Appeal. My K1 was denied because of no evidence included. I recently appealed and sent the supporting evidence. I inquired after 2 months, so, I found out that it would be looked at within the next 60 days or earlier. I am still nervous because even though I met my fiance at work. In Iraq.. we have no pics, because we were on a military base, in which no cameras were allowed. I did have his baby, which he is 5 months now. I however sent my son birth cert. , I am praying for everyone to be with their love one soon. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Is the father on birth cert. as biological father? And is that the only piece of evidence you submitted? I'd have advised to write a letter explaining the situation. Are you planning on seeing each other before interview at embassy(if the petition is approved)? The issue can still be addressed at the interview, that's why I'm asking

Otherwise, your deployment/orders to be overseas is initial evidence if you do not have a passport stamp(arrival/departure record).

Good luck!

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

In my state, the father has to be present. I did send my contract from DOD. and the permission to work and travel to Iraq. I also sent witness statement to prove that we were together. I am praying for favor and a speedy process. It will be one year in November. Thanks for your response.
