Form I-130 Petition for Alien Relative

Copy of petitioner birth certificate ,

Copy of petitioner passport, Naturalization Certificate, SSN and State ID

If the birth certificate is not from the US, do not include it. You will ONLY need to submit the naturalization certificate as proof of US Citizenship. Anything else is superfluous.

Copy of beneficiary’s I-94 & Passport

Copy of beneficiary’s SSN

Copy of beneficiary’s birth certificate

Copy of MS Degree Certificate (Successful completion of course)

Copy of Current I-20

These items are not relevant to the I-130. Best not to include them.

=====================================================================

Form I-485: Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status

Copy of intending immigrant’s I-94 and Passport(all Pages)

Only the I-94 is necessary.

Copy of intending immigrant’s SSN

This is not necessary or required. (I assume you mean the SS card.)

I-864 Affidavit of Support (filed by Spouse)

Form I-864 filed by U.S. Spouse

Copy of Sponsor’s Naturalization certificate and Passport(all pages)

Copy of Sponsor’s Birth Certificate

Copy of Sponsor’s Social Security Card

ONLY proof of US citizenship is required, which would seemingly be the naturalization certificate in this case. Do not include anything else.

I-864 Affidavit of Support (filed by Joint Sponsor, Petitioner’s Father )

Form I-864 filed by Joint Sponsor(LPR)

Form I-864A filed by Joint Sponsor’s wife(LPR) as they filed tax together

Copy of Joint Sponsor’s Green Card, SSN card and Passport(All pages)

Copy of Joint Sponsor’s wife’s Green Card, SSN card and Passport(All Pages)

ONLY proof of LPR status is required, which is a copy of the front and back of the LPR card. Do not include anything else.

==========================================================

I-131 package include:

Form -131, Application for Travel Document

Two passport-style photos

Explanation for I-131 Part 7 and relevant documents

Copy of state driver’s license

Copy of beneficiary’s I-94,SSN,Passport biographical pages,F-1 Visa and entry stamp pages

Copies of I-20 forms

Transcript & copy of degree Certificate

The state driver's license, SSN, F-1 visa, the transcripts(??), and entry stamp pages are irrelevant. Only a copy of the biographic page of the passport is required.

===============================================================================

Copy of Marriage Certificate(Original sent along with application I-130 and I-485

Don't send originals. It specifically states this in the instructions for ALL of the forms. They will ask for it if they need it.

I understand you're trying to be through, but including more than is required/necessary can slow down the process, confuse them, and possibly reveal something that doesn't need to be revealed. Only submit what is asked for on the forms.

Best of luck.

Agree with the above post. Do not include originals, do not include transcripts and degree copies, basically do not include anything else besides what they ask for. It does not help them to make a faster decision if they are buried in paper. Have all those things available if they ask for them, or for the interview. Good luck.

Also I believe only 1picture of your spouse is required.

No. You can and are supposed to send a copy.

Not for the I-130, but it is required to adjust status (the I-485). Just be sure to include a (translated) copy within the package.

Marriage certificate which I am talking is the artifact of marriage which court gave me after marriage $2 each, so I got multiple copies, I am not sending the one pastor and witness signed, do i need to send a copy of that too?

I have to get it translated only if its not in english right? I got my BC issued in enlish only from my country.

thanks for support,My package is way lighter now.

It depends on your state. Send the copy of whichever document legally binds your marriage. In some states, this is simply a copy of the executed marriage license. In others, it is a separate marriage certificate. If in doubt, you can send what makes you feel comfortable. Based on what you said, it sounds like that $2 document should work. If there's any question, it will be discussed at the interview where you have all of those documents to show.

I have to get it translated only if its not in english right? I got my BC issued in enlish only from my country.

Then you're all set!

No, send no original documents with the application.

Enclose a photocopy of the birth certificate, not an original certified copy.

I might be wrong but doesn't it cost $1070 for AOS? I like the $470 number better....

$420 for the I-130 and $1070 for I-485

So, $1490 by my math.
