regarding the photos I included to serve as evidence of our in-person meeting: I included 5 photos, and labeled the back of each photo, then put all 5 in a plastic bag that was stapled to a blank sheet of paper. I did not catch-on to Visajourney's recommendation of separating each photo and putting each in its own plastic bag and each bag attached to a piece of paper, and then writing the information on each page with an attached photo.

this is a pretty small buzz-kill. Seems that the rep at the service center would recognize that there are 5 pictures in the plastic bag and pull them out and see the writing on the back of each photo.

Anyone else here run into a delay because of the way the photos were presented in the petition packet?

Nope I put all my pictures in one plastic bag and behind each picture I wrote who was in it. And my pictures were no issue. You should be fine.

I included like 15 pictures, all just in one bag as well. Certainly seems way overkill to put each photo in it's own bag. I wouldn't worry at ALL.

Also just FYI, were approved with no issued. So in other words, they aren't THAT picky!

This is what I did and got approval with no RFE.

I made sure the pictures were good quality, showed my fiance and I in normal circumstances, (i.e. not staged), and with friends and especially with family (i.e. Mums, Brothers, Sisters, Uncle, Cousin).

I then printed the pictures via Costco. I printed labels on the computer and pasted it on the back of the pictures (label showed who is in the picture, where the picture was taken and the date.

I then placed the pictures (40 or so - front loaded for Nigerian Embassy) in chronological order and inside a photo envelope.

Good luck.

This is fine for photos. However, is this the ONLY evidence you included of meeting within the last two years? Because that will not be enough. It shows you met at some time, but it does not prove that time was within the last two years.

Thanks for your feedback. I think I did a good job with the packet. My other evidence of my in-person meeting included copies of my plane boarding passes, credit card and bank statements showing activity at her location, and copies of pertinent pages of my passport.

Thanks to everyone for the comforting feeback!
