Timeline

It's good to hear from you and that things are going so well!

We were quite lucky-- Y got a job at a local bakery/deli owned by a Lebanese family the day after he got his green card (!) and is using it as an opportunity to get American references, practice his English, learn about American work ethic and business, etc. Is it all he is capable of? Absolutely not. But he's grateful for the opportunity, experience, and ability to contribute financially to the household and is really working hard and making the most of it. I'm so impressed with him!

I can't believe it's almost been a year for us. Insane. Life is beautiful. Not perfect. But pretty damned amazing. :)

So, so, SO glad to hear you are doing well, T! I have thought of you often.
