It's been over 3 weeks since I received my approval notice. But I still haven't received my greencard. I'm getting worried. I want to visit my family in August, but I daren't make plans until I have the greencard in hand. Has anyone else been waiting this long? Judging by the timelines of others here, I fear something might have gone wrong with my greencard being issued.

My stepson was approved April 1, we received the green card after 3 days. My stepdaughter was approved April 9, and we are still waiting for her green card.

As you all may see in my timeline, I applied for my wife's residence conditional removal on August 2012, she did her fingerprints in September, and did not hear anything else until April when we got a RFE. We submitted more evidence, including our son's birth certificate (born in Dcember) and on May 16, 2013, I received both, the approval letter dated May 10, 2013, and the actual permanent residenc card, on a separate envelope. Now we are planning to apply for citizenship by July 19, 2013. Best regards!

John's ROC was approved on April 22 and we still haven't gotten his card. Apparently CSC takes forever to get theirs processed ClockWatch2.gif

Thanks! I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one still waiting. And it's a little encouraging to hear that it might just be "normal" for it to take this long with CSC.

John just asked me this morning if anyone on VJ had received their GC recently, so I promised I would look. :( It's a shame they aren't more on the ball recently. I hope yours comes soon! :)

I guess once 60 days have passed, I can give them a call. But I'm assuming they aren't going to do anything until then, so there's no point bothering just yet. I'll be sure to post an update if/when my greencard arrives!

Same here, I will post an update when the greencard arrives or we have to make an infopass appt or calls or write letters to the Ombudsman, etc and so on and so on. :)

Maybe the green cards will start coming now. I checked the September 2012 filers and saw that about 4 CSC filers have received their cards now and a few posted that they have placed service requests because they plan on traveling out of the country soon.

My wife was approved on April 5 and the letter said to call the Cust Serv number if we do not receive the card within 60 days. So I called today. The level 1 rep only had access to the same info shown online, that the case status was initial review. But I told her we received a letter dated April 5 that said my wife was approved. She escalated my call to a level 2 rep. After waiting an hour for a call back , the level 2 rep didnt have any additional information either, and simply said we will get a case status update within 2 weeks. Geez.... sad.png

Hi All,

I just like everyone else is waiting to get the 10 year green card for my wife. I have one concern the expiration of the 60 days letter will approach by June 26th which is almost two weeks away. Do I still wait till the two weeks are over to make an appointment or can I make an appointment right now (Will that even help).

It's taking a while to get the green card and the USCIS site still says Initial Review even though my wife got her approval letter.

Any updates regards this would be very helpful.

Thank you

Oh dear. That's concerning. I'm desperate to travel to England and see my family this summer. My brother and his wife just had their first daughter last Christmas. I want to see her very badly. They grow up so fast at that age! Unfortunately, if I can't travel in August I won't be able to travel until 2014. I've been pinning my hopes on customer service being able to hurry things along if the card hasn't come by then, but now I have my doubts...

No update yet though. In another 15 days, I can call and try to find out what's happening. I'm glad I'm not the only one left waiting though. My status on the website still says "Initial Review" so it's no use for keeping up-to-date on where CSC is with ordering my card production.

I don't know if it was my call last Friday that got the ball rolling or if it is just a coincidence, but I decided to check my wife's application status online this morning (which hadn't changed in months) and found the following message:

"The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on June 11, 2013". It also showed a USPS tracking number. Hooray! dancin5hr.gif
