Why hello everybody, I hope everybody is having a great morning! Woke up to a magical email from the Mystical land of Vermont, it reads something like this:

On March 28, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

I had completely forgotten to enlist myself in the list on here!

So here are a few details:

Pardon my ignorance but we are looking at my husbands green card and noticed the category changed from CF1 (Conditional Spouse) to IF1 which has the definition of: Alien whose record of admission is created upon the conclusion of a valid marriage contract after entering as a fiance or fiancee of a U. S. citizen. Does this mean upon the determination of valid marriage or dissolvement of a marriage? We are not divorced and have no intentions of ever divorcing. I have searched through some old threads but didn't find a definitive answer.

Pardon my ignorance but we are looking at my husbands green card and noticed the category changed from CF1 (Conditional Spouse) to IF1 which has the definition of: Alien whose record of admission is created upon the conclusion of a valid marriage contract after entering as a fiance or fiancee of a U. S. citizen. Does this mean upon the determination of valid marriage or dissolvement of a marriage? We are not divorced and have no intentions of ever divorcing. I have searched through some old threads but didn't find a definitive answer.

My understanding of it is like this:

CF1 - conditional GC

IF1 - 10 year GC after ROC

We received this message this afternoon from USCIS:

On March 29, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.
