Hi everybody!

i haven't receive my NOA1 yet?? is this seems normal? i really need it. plz don't tell me to make an infopass and have my passport stamped cuz its already expired too. and to have a new one. it will take no less than 2 months.

plz help!

Not normal, but there are few members never received NOA in every monthly filers thread. So, it's not that rare thing...

Here is from July 2012 thread. Maybe you can send PM to kweenbee to get information??

Finally got my NOA 1. Postmarked 8/20. Received 8/22. Well according to them, it's a copy of the notice they sent which I never got. So I'm just happy to get my one year extension. It took me two service requests for them to finally send me my NOA1. So to all those who still haven't gotten theirs, calling works.

7-17-2012 Notification to remove conditions received

8-11-2012 Mailed I-751 packet (Vermont Service Center)

8-13-2012 Package received by VSC

8-18-2012 Notice of Action I-797 received- letter states fees received and to wait for biometric appointment

NOA Receipt Date : 8-13-2012

ASC Appointment Notice Date: 8-20-2012

ASC Appointment: 5 Sept, 2012 ( completed)

The appointment at the Alexandra location went smooth, it took me an hour to get there and I had forgotten my SSN but it doesn't matter as you can also provide your alien number.

It took less than 10 mins, they fingerprinted ALL fingers and signed and stamped the ASC notice form.

Just ensure you write the receipt # correctly as listed on your ASC notice. I wrote another receipt # and they crossed it out and wrote the one on the ASC notice but had incorrectly listed it on my form so I had to get them to list it correctly. They also took a photograph.

I did an early walkin. It doesn't matter it's not packed.

Does anyone know what's the next step? How long will IT ttake? How can I travel outside of US while this process is going on?

hi all,

we received the noa1 today.

we actually received 2 noa1 - one stating they received an amount of $590 and the other one stating they received an amount of $675.

both noa1 does not include my son's name on it - will that be an issue?

also, i have been worrying the past days about the copies of tax returns we sent uscis.

we just sent the copies with our names on it, and not every page. should we now send the complete copies or should we wait for the rfe?

Unfortunately the next step is just a long wait - VSC is taking 9 months to a year to complete these right now. Fortunately you can travel with your current green card + NOA, it extends your green card validity for one year.

This question is re: our government issued IDs = State Ids and the kind.

Mine expires as the day my GC expires 11.22.12.

So,does this mean a number of problems from 11.23.12 till whichever day I will get my new GC - which I think would be Jan 2013?!?

I am thinking if I should get my IDs renewed using the NOA after 11.23.12 - what are your ideas?

Any other people who are thinking like I am, or I am just 'over-thinking' it....sigh...

my wife received a letter from the DMV regarding extending her drivers license. It instructed us to return a photocopy of her residence extension letter, so we sent in a copy of her NOA1. ..it seems to be going just as 'smoothly' (slowly!) as the first time she applied for her license. Back then her paperwork was stuck in the state capitol while they tried to verify her immigration status. Once we realized this and called the state DMV immigration department, they then had us fax them the same proof we had already submitted when applying (green card). ... ...we just now did the same thing again and faxed them her NOA1 letter, and are now waiting for her temporary drivers license extension. They advised that they cannot send her another one until her first one expires, so in the meantime they will send her a temporary license. (something like that) ...gotta love California! lol

Well I got Our Bio dates today... Sept 25th at 3pm and Sept 26th at 8am.

I am not sure why in the hell they booked us on separate days but I called 1-800 number and they said it is a hassle to change the dates. BOOOOO
