We received the biometrics appointment letter yesterday. I've made a copy of it and will include it with the original I-765, which is now signed.

I started the pre-term for my MBA program, and I must say that I am SO BUSY that this immigration stuff is now on the back burner, which I think is a healthier place for it to be. :blush:

The biometrics appointment notice is different from the normal I-485 receipt NOA you will receive.

I'm not sure it will serve as proof of a properly-filed I-485 (though it may) for I-765 purposes.

The biometrics appointment notice is different from the normal I-485 receipt NOA you will receive.

I'm not sure it will serve as proof of a properly-filed I-485 (though it may) for I-765 purposes.

We'll see what happens. They have the case number both on the cover letter and on the copy of the biometrics appointment notice. I received notice that they signed for the corrected (signature added) I-765 today. We still don't have one single NOA, and we are going to try a walk in biometrics tomorrow morning. Hopefully, they can start processing the I-765 now.

I've started my MBA program and my poor husband is going stir crazy sitting still. He wants to WORK!
