Hello to all of you,

I and my wife mailed her AOS paperwork to the USCIS on 9/1/2006 . With all the paperwork we mailed international birth certificate (when I say international it means that is has english version as well)but we still received RFE ,they wanted us to translate BC ,so we did it and mailed it to them a week ago. Today we received this e-mail from USCIS and I do not have clue what it means. Can anyone help me to understand this e-mail.

Here is the e-mail :

"Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

On October 19, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates. "

Is this just regural staff they e-mail to everybody and what is all this about preminary processing was complete,I do not get it.

And can anyone tell me what it means to be transfered to Chicago and how do you know that you case is transfered to Chicago ??

Thank you for your help.
