K1* THE KIDS NOT READY....OH MY!!!

We are awaiting an interview date and I just want to make sure that everything is ready. My fiance's children are included in everything but they are listed as "will follow". The dilemma is the children don't have passports yet because he was hoping to just get his visa and once he is in the United States and employed, we will work on getting the children here. If he shows up at the interview with just his information, WILL THIS AFFECT HIS VISA BEING APPROVED? As far as my fiance goes, he has all of his information ready to go.

That wiil not be a problem since the kids will not need their passport until they are ready to follow/join.

Thank you for the reply. That makes me feel so much better. But could you tell me if they will need their medical exam when he goes for his interview or will they just need that when they are ready to follow?
