Military Service - Does this count?

Hi fellow VJers I'm hoping someone can help me. I know I've got a long way to go but I've been looking at the forms for packet 3 and it's raised a question for me that I need some clarification on. It asks about military service, I very briefly joined the territorial army several years ago, I never completed basic training, never went on active duty and never received any formal discharge paperwork. I was only part of it for a few months. Can someone tell me if this needs to be declared on the form?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks guys. I know it was probably a stupid question but just wanted to check. Some people have said that having been in military service is likely to get you put into AP, any ideas if this is the case? Worried this long process has just got longer :(

Nah, that was a good post about AP, but a few months of membership in an allied army shouldn't matter too much. You will have a chance to explain what little you did there. Don't stress.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

SS would bear problem.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Wasn't the SS so don't think I need to worry about that

SS as in Nazis, presumably.

No worries for the UK military. If you were in the Chinese or Iranian army, different story.

My only concern now is that I don't have proof of anything due to never completing basic training
