Vermont is slow and for those who have called USCIS they have been saying they are only approving 16 January (but they've been saying that for a few weeks now, so it's difficult to read). There have been a few approved after that, but they are way behind CSC. Things could change, who's to know. Anyway, best of luck with your petition and the ongoing process

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number

Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere, and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .
I-129F Sent : Jul 28 2014
TSC received: Aug 04 2014
I-129F NOA1 : Aug 06 2014
I-129F NOA2 : Feb 25 2015 (NOA2 copy rcd: Mar 02)

Sent to NVC: Mar 09 / Left NVC Apr 1 / Arr Embassy Apr 7 / Pkt 3 Rcd Apr 15 / Medical Apr 17 / Pkt 3 sent May 1 / Interview May 12

.

I received my NOA1 on March 21st, yes I agree its going really slowly.

The other threads seem to imply that they are still processing Jan/Feb requests, which really is a bummer :(

Am doing the long distance thing and its not very fun.

Yours is a week before mine, hopefully we get some good news soon!

Sigh, sigh and sigh again. Feeling a bit deflated given my fiance and I are May filers. Yes, long distance becomes more frustrating (and expensive) as loves grows with passing time. But HAPPY thoughts.... Good luck and blessings to all. (F):)

But don't you need to be in your home country to do the necessary paperwork when you receive the NOA2?

I was told there might be a chance you will be denied entry too.

I entered immediately after getting the NOA1, thinking that it would be the 'safest stretch' to visit.

You know, just in case.

Does anybody know if its possible to do a medical exam first even before getting any notice.

I applied for police clearance in advance to perhaps be able to minimise waiting time

(((hugss))))

I know how you feel. I look at the Jan and Feb people waiting anxiously still and I also get a little down.

However, someone once told me. Having found the love of your life and waiting for a couple of months, is still better than never finding that special someone!

Eventually! It will come!

Charbot : i can ask for BC and police record online :)

I'll print the DS forms in US an fill it there.

For the entry, yes there is a chance to be denied at entry but I'll have few bills at my name and ticket return.

Does anyone know if it would be a problem to send checklist to french ambassy from US?

If not I guess we can wait until i come back home :)

Let's keep our heads up lol.
