Medical done in one day!

I scheduled my medical exam last month on aug 1 and 2 because I had to travel from Cebu just to have the medical, unfortunately it was the peak of typhoon gener. Luckily zest air didn't cancel their flights so I was flying in a dancing plane for an hour. Lol.. On the day of my medical aug 1 me and my bestfriend took a cab from paranaque to st lukes we left at 530am and to our dismay roxas boulevard was flooded already. We got stucked for an hour trying to find a passable way to st lukes, good thing was our cab driver was very kind and decided to passed the flood. we arrived at st lukes at 730am, I showed my printed online application to the guard, appointment letter for my interview and my passport. Believe it or not I was done w my medical at 930 am. It was because of the typhoon less people showed up. In our line we were like 10 so the procedure went very fast next step into another and in 2 hrs I was done and advised to go back at 1pm for the result on the same day. I went out and ha my lunch and went back at 1145 in st lukes. At 12noon they called my name for my result and thank god I passed the medical, advised to have my immunization and then waited for my result on the ground floor. By 3pm I was out of the st lukes with my cleared results.. There's a saying that goes "everything happens for a reason" works for me. For I didn't have to sleep thinking what would be my medical result on the next day.hehehehe..

22 June 2012 : NOA2 (e-mail & Text)

16 July 2012: Manila Case Number(by phone)

17 July 2012: Interview paid at BPI

19 July 2012: Set interview for Mid-Aug

23-24 July 2012: Medical St. Lukes(passed)

24 July 2012: CFO Seminar(had to go next morning for landline #)- PASSED

02 Aug 2012: Received e-mail from USEM our case is there.

15 Aug 2012: Interview at USEM - APPROVED

13 SEP 2012: POE Minneapolis, MN

27 OCT 2012: Married

19 NOV 2012: AOS package sent

05 DEC 2012: NOA's I-765, I-131, I-485

14 DEC 2012: Biometrics appointment finished(Walk-in..Was scheduled Jan 04 2013)

02 FEB 2013: I-131 and I-765 Approved

07 FEB 2013: USPS Picked up the combo-card

11 FEB 2013: Received Combo-card

21 FEB 2013: Transit Visa picked up in Chicago for Japan

Very lucky indeed! :thumbs: Good thing you had finished early for if there had been a long line of applicants for the medical exam at such time and you already had booked a flight back home without yet the result you could possibly cancel your flight and buy another ticket for home.You're right :yes: everything happens for a reason... Congrats!Good Luck for the next important step!

01/13/2012 - check cleared bank and email from USCIS

01/17/2012 - NOA from VSC Receipt # notice no case #

I'm nervous as well and apprehensive :unsure: for the upcoming Interview. Hope it will not be having this unpredictable Typhoon again to make such day gloomy and inconvenient for all the visa applicants! Crossing fingers for having a wonderful day and results after the Interview...

My Fiancee had her Medical in 2 days. we were hoping for one day but she had to come back the next day, but it was all for the Good, she passed anyway, so we happy!:thumbs:

NOA 2 txt/ email on july 18th 2011

NOA 2 received in Mail July 20th dated July 18th 2011

NOA2 in "74" days!

Medical Exam: March 22nd 2012

Medical Cleared on March 23rd 2012

Interview Date:April 16th, 2012......PASSED

Arrival Los Angeles California: July 7th 2012.

Marriage September 7th 2012 at San Bernardino County Hall of Records

wow really? i thought the typhoon game me a good luck..hahaha

I think you deserved it in spite of the bad weather you still manage to go without your fear...that's a good thing. Fight :thumbs: :thumbs: congrats and good luck for your interview :dance:
