After about a month of preparing documents and waiting for my girlfriend's papers, I've sent the petition of to CSC.

I am, of course, "second guessing" everything I sent. The main thing that worries me is the evidence. I didn't send any copies of boarding passes because I didn't think to keep them at the time.(I had no idea I would need them.) Anyone think this is going to be a problem.

I DID send, 5 or six pictures of us together during Christmas 2005, New Year's, and Valentine's Day and a few other misc. pics. I also sent copies of bank statements and transaction histories showing I withdrew money from an ATM in the town she lives in. Finally I did send copies of my flight itenaries, which the travel agency I flew through was kind enough to send me and copies of all the relevent pages in my passport. (entrance and exit stamps, student and turist visa and of course the first page with my picture.

Anyway, does this seem like enough (am I just being paranoid)?

I think you will be OK. I didn't send any photos of us but I did print out our engagement announcement that is posted on www.theknot.com This had one pic of us together, our stories about us, how we met and how my fiance proposed and all my family and friends that posted their well wishes on the guest page.

January 29, 2006 - WE GOT ENGAGED!!

March 20, 2006- mail K-1 VISA (certified & return receipt).

March 22, 2006 - Vermont office receives our application.

March 23, 2006 - NOA1

March 24, 2006 - Check is cashed

April 22, 2006 - Receive email from USCIS that RFE is mailed for more information.

April 28, 2006 - Receive RFE in the mail. Need final divorce decree from Andreas.

June 20, 2006 - 2nd RFE (IMBRA)

June 23, 2006 - Received RFE (IMBRA) in the mail.

June 24, 2006 - FedEx IMBRA RFE to Vermont office.

June 27, 2006 - Vermont Office received IMBRA RFE.

July 3, 2006 - Touched

July 12, 2005 - Fedex request for extension for the 1st RFE.

July 17, 2006 - Deadline for 1st RFE.

July 18, 2006 - Touched

Best of luck on your journey! Second guessing is the name of the game, waiting to find out if you sent enough is all you can do. But it does also feel good to begin the journey!

I remember the feeling of finally sendong that petition- a mix of relief and fear that I forgot something! :P

4/22/2008---2nd Interview ( keep us in your prayers)

4/22/2008--He was approved for the Visa 2-3 weeks until he recieves it in the mail lets hope so!!

6/03/2008--VISA IN HAND! Thank you god!

7/03/2008--Our Wedding Day!
