01/03/06 NVC assigns case number

02/15/06 Case complete (thank you James Shortcuts- only 6 weeks!)

04/19/06 tired of waiting, filed k-3 #2 ( petition is still lost in oblivion)

09/11/06 NVC scheduled CR-1 interview/ on to Lagos (thank God after 7 months of waiting!)

10/14/06 Interview date (success!)

10/18/06 Hubby goes to pick up visa- not ready ( ugh what's going on!)

10/19/06 Visa in hand ( thank you God!)

10/29/06 Together at last :)

I know your road was rough and seldomly travelled by the masses, but this is a prime example of the phrase, "The race is not given to the swiftest, or the... but he who endureth till the end."

I only pray that your saga can serve as inspiration, and provide a sense of hope to others whom are going through a similiar situation.

You tell me God ain't good!!!! :luv::luv::luv: At times he makes us wait, and puts us through the test, yet he never forgets us. All of your stress and turmoil was not in vain..

I have been on VJ since August of 2005. I have read about your journey and have always kept you and many others in my prayers. At the moment I have a knot in my throat so large, and my hands are shaking. Girl ..... TO GOD BE THE GLORY FOR THE THINGS HE HAS DONE!

Wait a minute ...... OK I'm back. I just had to take a moment to shout Glory! Thank you Jesus! For what He will do for others He will do for you! I am sincerely happy for you. If you live on the East coast let me know, my husband and I will try our best to join in on his welcome home celebration.

8-27-05 - rec'd I-864 bill and DS-230 form

8-30-05 - sent I-864 bill in overnight

9-16-05 - rec'd I-864 pack

9-19-05 - rec'd DS-230 fee bill

9-30-05 - sent DS-230 bill overnight, rec'd 10-1-05

10-20-05 - rec'd DS-230 pack, sent to hubby 10-29-05, he rec'd pack 11-7 and Dan sent off to nvc 11-8, and they still have not rec'd pack, have to send off again, darn.

1-13-06 - hubby sent off DS-230 pack for a second time

1-23-06 - NVC rec'd DS-230 pack, the waiting begins.

2-7-06 - called NVC, case completed on 1-26-06, thank you lord, NVC stated waiting on confirmation from lagos regarding interview date.

9-13-06 - called NVC, they stated case was forwarded to Lagos on Sept. 11th and Dans interview is Oct. 19, 2006. Thank you dear lord.

10-19-06 - Dan had his interview and was approved. Will pick up visa on Wed. My king is finally coming home. Visa wasn't ready, had to go back on Mon. Oct. 30th to pick it up. Has it in hand.

11-17-06 - Dan arrives at Detroit Metro Airport at 11:00 a.m. This is one happy day for us.

11-25-06 - Dan receives his social security card.

12-06 - Dan receives 3 welcome letters and his green card shortly afterwards.

Thanks to all of you!

Watson had to wait one year before they finally did the DNA test, then we waited for the results. We tried to prepare for everything we could think of including getting an affidavit from Sweetie's Mother that Watson was the fatherr and giving up all her rights

before she Left for Liberia (They didn't use this). He had an

appt. for this Nov., but my Senator sent an email with a quote from a CO that he "could come in Mon, Wed...( I don't actually remember what days) to check on the status of his case." So Watson used that email as a paper to wave in front of the guards to get in early. They gave him the blue paper, then last week they said they coudn't find his fingerprints, so I wasn't hopeful for this Friday, BUT I'll be, they actually gave him the visas.

The guards all knew him by then and were congratulating him.

Oh yeah, the lab said they were 99.99 per cent sure he's Sweetie's Dad.

So finally on to the airplane.

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.
