My question now, I know that my BF has to go and pick up el paquete #3, he tried to call today and the lady at the embassy told him that he has to wait between 1 to 3 months, is that true? My main concern is that our interview is in 3 months and I don't know if everything will be ready. HELP!!! tHANK YOU!!

the embassy will notify him once they are ready for him to pick up the package, he should received a telegram or something of that nature in the mail, instructing him the times and the days he can go and pick up the package @ the embassy, I don't think it will take that long perhaps a couple of weeks, but not that much, as per my experience. I hope this help and good luck!!!

my opinion is this. once you find out that the nvc has sent package to consulate, it will take uo to two weeks for them to get paperwork, and besides you can print all that information that is inside of package 3 www.usint.gov. even the list of hospitals that only do the medical exam... u are waisting time and they r just tryi.g to prolong things, if u have any questions just call me.....

the consulate in cuba does not work like the rest, there delivery service and telegram service are no that fast

wow, you are lucky that you got an interview in three months, we waited much longer than that! I called to set up an appointment for him to get his packet (because he had to travel many hours to Havana). I wouldn't wait for them to send the packet, and I also wouldn't wait for them to notify them that it's ready - you just can't trust when they will actually do that.
