You need to get started with your AOS.

Check out this link to the USCIS: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem.eb1d4c2a3e5b9ac89243c6a7543f6d1a/?vgnextoid=2da73a4107083210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD&vgnextchannel=2da73a4107083210VgnVCM100000082ca60aRCRD

Good luck!

overstaying would be a problem if you left and tried to come in again. but as it were, you are going to start AOS procedures, so don't leave the US until you at least your Advance Parole document.

Adjustment of Status from H-1B, Family-Based
07/26/2012 - 10/18/2012: 85 Days from Application Received to GC Received.
Removal of Conditions
07/22/2014 - 11/14/2014: 116 Days from Application Received to GC Received.
Naturalization
02/03/2016 - 05/31/2016 : 119 Days from Application Received to Oath Ceremony.

I am a United States citizen!

It will not, for you're married to a US citizen, and you did not enter the US with the premeditated intention of immigrating. In the case, there is no ban as a result of your overstay.

Just make sure you don't leave the country until you have your green card or AP on hand.

Before you can get a SSN you will need your EAD, which requires that the AOS be filed in the fist place.

The first step is getting started with the AOS, and once you receive your EAD you will be able to get your SSN. If you have no plans to work anytime soon, it shouldn't be an issue.

It will take a few months before you get there.
