I will be very happy if someone can put light to my question. I try to apply for my mother so that she can come to the state and join me, when i apply for her i got denial for the following reason below:

Evidence to support a petition for parent. In addition to the evidence of United States citizenship....the petitioner must also provide evidence of claimed relationship.

In general, minimal, required evidence of the claimed relationship is the petitioner birth certificate issued by the appropriate civil authority showing timely registration and establishing biological maternity/paternity. Depending on the specific nature of the familial relationship, required evidence of the claimed relationship may also include, but is not limited to: marriage certificate(S),evidence of legal termination of priors marriage , evidence of legitimation , adoption decree(S)evidence of legal custody , and evidence of shared residence and must be accordance to Title 8, code of Federal Regulation , part 204.2(f)(2)and the instructions for the Forms I-130, petition for Alien Relative.

Here are the documentation that i submitted when i file the I-130 Form below:

(1) My U.S Passport copy

(2) I-130 Forms

(3) My Birth certificate copy

(4)$420 Money Order which is the filling fees.

Now am trying to re-apply i will be very happy if i can be able to get help on what and what can i add to my forms since they asked for more evidence in the first term when i file for my mother. Any advice will be help for me so that my lovely Mother will be around me.

was your birth certificate in English, meaning were you born here? because any document other than in English language has to attach a translation in English.

also I don't see any marriage licence or certificate from your mom or divorce decree if there is one.

i guess your birth certificate was not issued by the appropriate civil authority, for example: In the Philippines, an National Statistics Office issued birth certificate is required and that birth certificate should contain your mother's name as your mother (with the same exact spelling)

hope this helps..

the opinions that i express in this website are my own and are not legal advise...thank you...
