We have received our NOA2 and I'm curious as to how my fiance will be notified and/or receive the Instruction and Appointment Package - Fiance K-Visas (Packets 3 & 4). Mail? Email? If it is email how are they suppose to have her email address as we have not provided her email address in the I129F package I sent in. Was I suppose to generate a G-1145 for her so that they embassy in Bogota has her contact info?

I replied to you in the Colombia Club thread where you will find more info regarding the visa process in Bogotá. You can also ask additional questions there or ask for advice since all members who participate are extremely helpful.

I just went through the entire thread you linked to and didn't see that I posted in that thread. Would you mind providing me with a response in this thread?

Did you call NVC and give them both your email addresses?

If not you can contact embassy direct, I sent them an email and the next day they emailed me the packet to forward to her. Make sure you include your case #.

They do not snail mail it because in Bogota the snail is dead.

Don't worry about it, there are a few people that are always reffering to that thread but I can't find anything in it either, except a headache trying to wade through it.

Yeah it's like here go look through a 10+ page thread only to find I hadn't posted in it nor was the question brought up by someone else. That was disappointing.

It was the sixth post on that page (#261), impossible to miss:

After your NOA2 you need to call the NVC to find out when they will send or when they sent her case to the US Embassy in Bogotá, they will also give you the BGT number of the case. If they haven't sent it, ask them when they think they will be sending it and give it about three business days to arrive. If they sent it already then contact the embassy via email, give them your BGT number and they will email you the Instructions Package which is also found in the embassy's website.

The instructions will tell you what she will need, where she can get her lab work done, as well as her medical. It will also give you a link to the site where you can register, pay for her visa and schedule the interview.

I'm really confused by what you're complaining about because when I click on the link I gave you, all I have to do is go down a bit on that same page and your question with my answer is right there on post #261. It's really that simple.

We're all here to help each other and many of us really go out of our way to help people who are just getting started to help them with the process since it can be overwhelming at times. The reason a Colombia Club thread was created is because individual threads that get created in any forum are moved down to other pages when new ones are posted, so your thread will eventually get lost in a sea of new threads. Since the Colombia Club is one of the most active, it will pretty much stay on the first page and other members will get to see your questions or comments.

As much as you're dissing the Colombia Club thread, you're missing out on all the information it offers. It not only has info on the USCIS, NVC and embassy processes but it also has a lot of info regarding medical exams, vaccinations, lab work info, photo info, interview tips, lodging recommendations, airline ticket info, police certificate info, etc.

Like I said, we're all here to help each other.
