Why is it that when a person makes a stupid comment, there is always somebody looking to turn it into a national story?

Who gives a fluck about Chick-fil-a... if what they said upsets a person, they should not patronize the restaurant and that's it. Why make a big deal out of it? It's these attention whores that love the sound of their own voices that always start this chit.
