K1 and K2 visas

After reading a few things about K2 visas it seems that whether children attend the interview is dependant on which embassy is involved. For anyone who has been through interview for both K1 and K2 did your children have to travel to Sydney too??

Even though interview is probably at least 3 months away I'm starting to think about logistics as I live 7 hours from Sydney. Thanks everyone

First Visit to California - November 24, 2011

Second Visit to California with my children - March 22, 2012

Third visit Chris came to Australia - June 9, 2012

Got engaged - June 9, 2012

Sent I-129F - July 13, 2012

Received at Dallas Lockbox - July 17, 2012

NOA1 - July 17, 2012
