Hi everyone,

I unfortunately lost my wallet today at a gas station. my green card was in there. I am not sure how to go about this. I know I have to fill out a bunch of forms and pay another $450. but I am wondering if I should wait a week or two and see if it shows up. or if I should apply immediately?

does anyone have any experience with this? how long does it take to get my new card?

You file the I-90, pay the $450 fee. I suggest you make a police report and include that with your I-90.

It takes 3-6 months. I suggest you make an infopass to get a GC (I-551) stamp in your passport.
