Hi Everyone, I have had of this site and the beautiful ppl n d good help y'all give to ppl. Well I have an i864 related question so I decided to post it in this forum. I got married with my husband who is on f1 visa, 6months ago and we r still together n happily. we wr not able to file for him since then because we have been through lots of financial problems. Now we gat enough money, I wanna petition him before the money goes away:). But, we just moved to a new location and I didn't get a job get, I have my previous year tax returns, I didn't make enough over d years but his cousin agreed to co-sponsor him (my husband).

But my question is:-

1. Can we go ahead and file even without me having a job at current since his cousin is co-sponsoring him?

2. His cousin signed the i864 3months ago, does he ( the co-sponsor) need to sign a new form?

I look forward to your sincere advices. Thanks

You can file the petition. The joint sponsor will need a more current I-864 when it is time to submit it.

ok, does that mean the co-sponsor have to add me (the USC) as part of the ppl he sponsoring? since i currently dont have a job. or he is still sponsoring just my husband(the immigrant)?

Only the immigrant needs sponsorship. The immigrant will be added to the joint sponsor's household count.

ok thanks.

Another important question, in connection to my first question at the begining of this topic. i just got hired in for a job and i'm starting next week Tuesday.

Should i add my new job in the forms? if Yes, Could the package be send without pay stubs from my new job? since i didnt start yet therefore no paystub. We really don't wanna wait for another 2 weeks for my new paystub.
