No, all I missed - by choice - is the hot air you posted. Quinnipiac has a pretty solid record getting it right.

Willful ignorance. The Dem party motto.

I guess you don't want to know when someone skews a poll as long as it says what you want it to say.

Rassmussen has a really good record as well. Their polls show a much different story.

In the grand scheme of things the POTUS has very little influence over the US economy, there are far too many other factors that play into it. Presidents have no real ownership over the economy whether it be good or bad. Look at the economic ups and downs throughout history, it doesn't play Presidential party favorites.

True, how can a President implement any job creating initiatives if the bills themselves aren't even considered in the House or filibusted (in record numbers by Republicans in the Senate). Obama isn't the problem, it's congress.

don't kid yourself. the man has been campaigning for potus for 7 years. he will announce his vp after the olympics to maximize the pop in the numbers, and the mugslinging from the pacs will be epic. i wouldn't put much weight in the polling data until mid september.

I am not worried, but in all honesty we are three months away from election day and he doesnt have a VP. It seems he is not very concerned or engaged at all. First the tax returns, now the VP... Must everything about him be shrouded in mystery? rofl.gif

Funny, Obama had a dem controlled congress for his first two years. What did he do then?

I had someone (I wish I could remember who now) tell me a few weeks ago that Romney simply being elected will improve the economy. That's all he had to do!

I saw that post too, the reasoning behind it was that just the fact that a businessman and Republican would become President, it would ease the minds of the business owners to freely do business without the worry of Democratic taxes and restrictions. Twenty or Thirty years ago, that might have very well been true, but with a global economy firmly in place, the game has changed dramaticaly. Rather than creating new jobs here, it's all about the dollars now, and that usually means cheap labor overseas, no matter who is in charge.

You do know that the tradition is to name a VP just before the convention?

PPP, a democratic polling outfit shows Florida in a dead heat. But you follow the polls you want to if it makes you feel better.

Ah, Obamacare. Such a marvelous accomplishment.

The reps couldn't filibuster for the first two years. Until Teddy died and Brown was elected the Dems had 60 seats. Any more excuses?

So go to Intrade and put your money where your mouth is.

Intrade? Yeah, people put their money on Obama there. ;)

Obama's chance to be re-elected President: 57.8%

Romney's chance to be elected President 39.5%

You were saying?

It was a step in the right direction towards a single payer system, only a matter of time.

Then you must want to follow Rassmussen. They have the best record.

If you think Obamacare is a step towards single payer you are delusional. I am for Single Payer and this sure isn't it.
