Yep patience. It takes at least a week before a hardcopy may be delivered. The text and email is sometimey less than half of us get that first notice that way. As far as check thats also about a week from delivery. So its only been 3 days thats way to soon. Another week to 2 weeks you should hear something. It can take 30 days for you to get notice but know it was delivered thats your first good sign so relax. :D

Welcome to the forum.

If you have confirmation from USPS that your petition package was delivered....hang in there.... you should be okay. Patience and waiting are two things that this entire process will enable you to fully realize and understand.

Good luck on your visa journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

You need to learn to be patient. The journey is long and requires A LOT of waiting.

If you get all worked up, you will not make it to the end.

I didnt receive an email or a Text either. July 29th was only 2 days ago. I doubt they would of cashed your check, update your information in that short of a time. Give it like 2 weeks before you worry. Just to save yourself a lot of stress, you definately have learn how to be patient with this process. Don't expect to even get your NOA2 in the five months either. People will tell you that, but to save yourself a headache don't expect it. If it happens then it will be a pleasent surprise. Good Luck, find something to distract you in the meantime. :)

Okay let me tell you this others timelines no matter. Throughout this process you will see people way after you get apporved some in just days or weeks without an expedite or anything (hey favor ain;t fair right). Not all petitions go to Texas lockbox just those K1's plus. So just hold on you know our government wants our money they will cash it soonest.

And to think they signed for yours on a saturday just like mine. I overnight mine but post office missed the time suppose to be there on friday march 16th it was signed the 17th and so i got my refund $34 thank you.

Now once you get that NOA1 (see u already know the lingo lol) than you can hold on. I got approved in 3 months 1 week 5 days. My poor friends up in VSC man some waiting 8, 9 10 months so sad. So hope you don;t go there but probably CSC.

I got my hardcopy in mail the following saturday so anyday now.

The best medicine is follow the topics post where it interests you. And in no time you are now helping someone who was just like you months ago come along. Soon just sit down and buckle up. And Flow with God. ;)
