Hello everyone!! I just wanted to stop by and say I'm soooo happy!! I just came back from my interview and my green card was approve so now I just have to wait for it to come in the mail!!

It was soooooo easy and relaxed!! they didn't really asked for too much papers... if anyone wants to know about it you can ask... specially if you live in Pittsburgh so you know how it is here!! I just have to say people at the Pittsburgh office are really really nice and make you feel comfortable and there's no need to be worried or stressed out!! I don't know about other offices but this one was really nice!!

Thank everyone for your postings... I didn't pay a lawyer... I did everything myself reading here and doing research!! there's no need to waste your money on lawyers!!

Thank you... they only asked for evidence of me and my wife having stuff in our names so just copies of bank statements and copy or our car insurance policy... I had pics with me and all that but they didn't even ask... they only go through all the questions from I-485 like if you've been convicted of anything and then the lady (it was a lady making the interview) said "we're going to play the newly wed game!! haha my wife and I had each a blank piece of paper and had to answer the questions she asked and our answers had to match... so it was questions like how many brothers and sisters and their names, favorite food, dessert, where do we buy groceries and things like that... super easy... 15 questions total and that was it!!! I was approved right in the spot!! :D

to be honest I don't even know what that meant!! haha I mean, I made copies of bank statements showing that I have joint accounts with my wife and I took the original ones too and I guess when it says about the documents showing you're eligible it's like your married certificate and visa on passport and all that... in the end they didn't asked for any of that... other than the copies of the bank statements and copy of our car insurance and the lady was nice and said she had review the papers I submitted before and that everything was in order so there was no need for more papers and then just the questions... again, this is Pittsburgh and so far the immigration people here has always been really nice... I don't know about other offices... who knows, they might want to see all the papers again
