Hi

My wife and I started the green card process, she is a us citizen, we got married time ago before applying, she has a daugther but am not doing well with the daughter and some times she do thins to cause problems between my wife and me, my wife don't want to make laundry, cook or wash dishes, i am ok with that because she works, i work too so i make my laundry ans she gets mad because i don't do her laundry and her daughters laundry, she is 10 and she don't want to help in nothing, just watch TV, my wife yields at me for every thins, every time i tell to her daughter to pick up her mess or take care of her dogs because usually she don't feed them by 2 or 3 or more days because she don't like, that is what she says, my wife gets mad for telling to her daughter to take care of her dogs, and the list is very long.

She applied for me but this is insupportable, we fight every day and i don't know what to do, i am waiting for the appointment for the interview and i just don't want to be with them anymore.

any advice?

If you don't want to be with them anymore, then you shouldn't be getting a green card from them. You filed for AOS by being married to a citizen. If you don't intend to stay married to your wife, then it's considered immigration fraud.

My wife has 3 kids and we get along well most times. But we are like any other family and sometimes we fight and argue. It's part of being a family.

Good Luck.

Well if it's down to you trying to pick fights by only doing your laundry then divorce is probably the right thing. But come on, of all things to make a big deal out of, laundry?

Families have their ups and downs. And sometimes it helps to go work with a family counselor to help get the conversation going. You got married because you wanted a life together. And now it's over because of a petulant child and dirty jeans?

You should be thankful your daughter isn't as close to a brat like I was with my father! I made him go through hell with my behavior but he never gave up or even complained , either way you cant just stay married because you don't want your personal life to mess up your green card process, that's illegal and very wrong. Stay with your family because you love them , not because you will lose out on a benefit!

I am concern about animal cruelty. Usually she doesn't feed the dogs 2 ,3 days? what a spoiled brat. PLEASE call "animal control" to take the dogs,do not allow her to keep the dogs because they will die.I know you came here looking for some solution for your case, but it drives me crazy to hear about animal cruelty.I wish you the best.
