You will still need the NSO certificate, only I believe it a CEMAR for married folk. You just fill out the form at NSO they will issue the document that reflects your marital status.

Its money and being a total annoying pain in the butt.... last grasp at control before ya leave.

she needs a CEMAR(certificate of marriage) as a proof of marriage

besides from MC and it will show how many times a person is married,

if just once then GOOD. don't worry everything will be fine..

all she needs to do is go to NSO fill up a CENOMAR pink form and pay

corresponding amount, then it will be release in a couple of days.

better to have one than none to avoid delays

We already have the "marriage certificate" from NSO (yellow copy), Does my wife still need to get a copy of "Cenomar" from NSO?

Yes, your wife should bring along her CRS Form No. 5 - Advisory on Marriages (CENMAR) to her Embassy interview and to her CFO seminar.

When she goes to the NSO, she will apply for a CENOMAR. Since she is married, the NSO will issue her a CRS Form No. 5 - Advisory on Marriages (CENMAR).

For those who have never been married, when they apply for a CENOMAR, the NSO will issue them a CRS Form No. 4 (CENOMAR).

If their so concerned about their overseas workers and filipino's going abroad, why don't they have them take the CFO when traveling to Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore? Those countries are where young girls run into serious issues, not traveling with their fiance to the U.S or a western country.

For a nun at St. Mary's to scare the he;ll out of a woman for going to a country known for having a majority of the population being Swingers, is just downright BS.. Where does the CFO get its stats and fact's? Is it firsthand experience? NO It's jealousy and money period!! It's a last grab at some more pera... Actually it isn't, lets hit the filipino worker going abroad one more time at immigration. WHo is bringing all their money back to the Phils to help out the Philippines..

I love the country and will retire here someday, but lets call apples - apples.

Think they don't?

CFO, in league with the Bureau of Immigration considers "other partners of foreign nationals or naturalized citizens" to include foreign boyfriends/girlfriends.

We were "offloaded" or denied departure at NAIA en route to Bangkok by the BI as my girl did not have the "necessary" papers from the CFO to travel as a TOURIST to Thailand with an American.

From the CFO:

"Please be advised as well that your girlfriend does not need a CFO registration sticker/stamp for your holiday trip to Thailand, the Bureau of Immigration will only check the GCC as proof that she has complied with the government’s policy."

So, after forgoing the cost of the previously purchased air tickets and 2 days accommodation in Manila, and a trip to St. Mary's in QC to get this Guidance and Counseling certification, we then bought new air tickets and had a happy 2 week holiday abroad.

The End

I hope someone can help me.

I am married in the Philippines...but I have a long time partner and have cohabited for nearly 5 years in Dubai and Bangkok. We have applied for an unmarried partner visa in Uk. My question is, when I go to CFO, will they be able to provide me with the sticker? or would they deny me of it seeing as I am married to someone other than my partner? I have a feeling they will, as Philippines is so backwards!

Any response is most appreciated

xx
