But the thing is the EAD that i have right now will expire on april 2013...and renewal application will be sent by me when the EAD about to expire.... and I am lookin for I-485 receipt number...not I-765...then how it could hppen...and I also have an email From USCIS which stateds that my I-485 card is in production....so how it could me possible that 2nd representative from USCIS said that your card is not in production whereas 1st representative said that its in production...

I am really confused now...

But thanks for your reply my friend.

Well, maybe the 2nd person was looking at some other form? The I-130?

I know that when people here get approved, the online status will bounce back to review sometimes. The online thing isn't very accurate. Maybe the 2nd person you talked to was looking at something similar?

I know it's crazy stressful. Hang in there and hopefully you'll get the card soon.

Thanks you all....

But now I got a trouble...

- I changed my address 1 august and they send the card in production 1 of august...so i called to USCIS...the representative who pick up the call 1st time....she said that yes my card in production and will get within 30 days ...but she is not so knowledgeable regarding address change and then she trasfer me to anohter level of representative...and 2nd represetative said to me that Yes she updated my new address. but she said that in her system it shows that case is still in review? and so card is in not in production she can't give me the tracking number for that because its not issued yet. ?

I REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT'S THIS?

I have an email into my personal email account from USCIS that my card is in production and i also got screenshot from USCIS web site where we can check status by receipt number....?

Anybody faced this type of confusion before... I am really scared now.

Thanks friends

First congrats and I am glad the long wait is over for you. Second, do you live close enough that you can put a vacation hold on the mail at your former address? We were about to move right before the GC was to arrive so I asked the PO what to do. You can place a vacation hold for up to 30 days on the old address and go back and pick up the mail. Since the GC will not be forwarded, this is the only way to make certain that you get the GC should it be mailed to the old address.

Good luck,

Dave

Thanks Dave&rosa...but i think i messed up something here...

Here what I did...

1. I changed my address on AR-11 form to uscis and also changed address on USPS...now what i did after that..I put Hold mails on my old address too...for 30 days.... but I didn't change my wife's address yet at USPS and on august 03 they approved my I-130 too...so my I-130 approval notice will come to my old addreess right?

2. What if I misplaced my I-130 ? and now What USPSD is going to do..is USPS going to hold my mails on old address or is USPA going to send back all the mails to USCIS?

Tha nks for your useful replies my friends and good luck for those who are still waiting for their GC.
