Should I bring the letter from the embassy at St. Luke's?

Hi guys! I am just wondering if I need to bring the letter from Manila embassy when I go to St. Luke's.

I plan to have my medical exam next week but I still have to receive the letter from the embassy.

The thing is, NVC said they have already sent our files to the embassy last July 23. How long does it usually take for the embassy in Manila before they send the files to me, to begin with?

I just feel like I've been waiting too long for that letter to arrive. Anyway, we have already received our case# that is why I was able to schedule my interview on the 30th of this month.

I hope someone could answer my questions. Thanks everyone.

hi.. i had same experince before..i went to st.lukes and i didnt have the NVC letter from embassy yet .i only had my case no. and iinterview appointment letter .the staff asked for the letter from NvC and i told him i dont have it yet but i have the case number already.. he said he can let me have my medical but i have to bring the NVC letter during my interview.

correct me if Im wrong but you should have received the nvc letter thru ur email (Petitioner email and beneficiary email)

They meant any letter from Nvc that contains your case number.

Sept 10, 2012- called USEM and VISA WAS ISSUED

You don't need any letter from embassy to SLMEC to have your medical.

My letter from the embassy took ages to arrive too. So I emailed USEM (to follow it up) and they replied to my email, and I was planning to take that email to SLEC because my case number is shown there. Fortunately the USEM letter did arrive (delivery courier) before my medicals. The guard at SLEC did ask for that letter from the embassy, but I've read many accounts here at VJ of people going to the medicals without it... they just presented any document/email which shows the case number (some even without any document).

You should be fine as long as you have your case number. If you want to play it safe, then email USEM about your eligibility letter and print that so you have something to show to SLEC. Good luck!

You don't need the letter from the embassy. Just give them the case number MNL#
