Getting update from USCIS

I was curious, and haven't found much to date, on if we are able to find out from the USCIS customer service if our case is even assigned to someone or just currently being worked. That's all I want to know.

Does anyone know if this information is given by the phone wranglers over there? I was thinking about just repeat calls until someone gave me the info......?

I called today and while the person that answered the phone was nice, I didn't learn anything knew.

So in an effort to be able to ease my wife's suffering at least a little I am trying to at least find that much out so she knows progress is being made.

Any info would be great.

Besos!

Probably not. The people on the phone are just good for reading information that is posted on the website. So they will say wait around 5months

What if we spoke with a tier 2?

They never give any informations by phone,,the 1st reply is right, they just read what is posted on the mail u already got or on the uscis website..

They tell it to u with different words to make u think that they are taking care of u but forget it..you r on the line like me and thats it..gotta wait, wait and wait.

The only good thing to understand after calling them is that our cases is not lost or denied since they talk about it

Being patient is the key for us

have a good luck
