Hello folks,

Our case was completed at NVC on July 12th. I've been calling every few days since then to see if the interview date has been scheduled, to no avail. I've been told that it will be weeks for it to be scheduled, that the consulate only schedules on the second week of the month (which is not true - seen many VJers get dates outside of the second-week-of-the-month parameters). Today's new info - was told by operator "Greg" at NVC that Canadian consulates have ceased scheduling interviews until after September 10th....

What is the normal timeframe for an interview to be scheduled at Montreal after NVC "Case Complete" status? Has anyone else heard about this "no more scheduling until September" business? I'm frustrated with the Mushroom Experience right now (kept in the dark and fed manure).

Any information is appreciated!

We got our case complete from NVC on March 22nd and found out on April 10th that our interview was scheduled for May 9th. At that time there were a few other people who had gotten case completes within a week of the same date as us and we all found out on April 10th that our interviews were on different days all in May. When I had called previous to that I was told that they were done scheduling for April and it would be a couple of weeks until they would be scheduling for May. For us the second week thing turned out to be true. Hope that helps!
