Yeah, I can see that, but that is a relative cost, not fixed in the process. You could have been there on business (so no cost to go there), and you could do a wedding for $500 (which you would do in the US, and probably spend more $$$)... so that cost is variable on how each person decides to get married. I was referring to only the cost of the process itself. K-1 has more fees than CR-1, though I don't recall by how much.

Oh yes....K-1 does have more cost..... a grand to adjust status. which I don't have to pay. Plus my significant other is eligible to work as soon as she sees fit.
