Called USCIS yesterday to find out that after 166 days my petition has been approved! YAY!!! When should I start calling NVC? Im really wishing for this process to go fast!

you can wait a week or two if you like, mine took almost a month to get case number from NVC after it was approved by USCIS.

one thing i would say is that, after waiting for sometime, i called everyday to obtain NVC case number and of course i get the typical answer from NVC, "your case has not shown up in our system yet" but you should call everyday to obtain your case number if you like.

You can wait about 1 or 2 weeks then call everyday from that day forward.... Please read also the guide for NVC

one thing i would say is that, after waiting for sometime, i called everyday to obtain NVC case number and of course i get the typical answer from NVC, "your case has not shown up in our system yet" but you should call everyday to obtain your case number if you like.

Hold up Jamdesi12, are you saying you been waiting since 5/22 to have Case Received at NVC? I have been waiting since 6/29. They found case friday now who knows where that thing is. Very frustarting. What is going on there? Have you gone back to CSC. Thats what I did friday and it was still there waiting for Transfer.

Gosh were both same case dwhells76 were on waiting our case no also June 29 noa 2 and July 9 they said they received our papers and till at this moment no case no yet.

But we need to be patient last monday my hubby called them and said give them few days to enter in the system goshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh .I hope we can get our case no soon

Well not quite the same boat. You are in the boat I am still waiting on the docks. See my case hasn't even arrived at NVC. Not found NVCresearch not found. And CSC can't say for sure if they have it anymore. Friday 7/27 it was still sitting at CSC. Now no one knows where it is and as they said today sometimes it can take 90 days to get to NVC. So yeah I am bummed.
