It's summer and that means high season.. I don't know if you'll find good deals, unless can do last minute travel. Have you tried www.hotwire.com? Orbitz, Expedia, Travelocity, Priceline?

**Moved from K1 to Caribbean forum as the question is not related to the visa process and can be better addressed by folks in the regional forums.

I need specifics. What airport are you leaving from? Which city in Dom Rep are you traveling to?

OK WELL I CHECK ALL THIS LINKS AND IM STILL LOOKING AT 700.-800. DOLLARS FROM WHERE IM AT.... THANKS ANYWAYS!!!

I just checked on Kayak.com for flights leaving DTW (Detroit) this Saturday to SDQ (Santa Domingo) and returning to DTW on Tuesday. There were a bunch of one stop, round trip flights for about $530. American Airlines seemed to be the best bet.

I would suggest holding up for a bit seen tech. we still in summer time & flight tend to go down in Sept for DR since the kids are coming back from there vacations. Also you have the Labor day weekend so I would consider looking for around that time as well getting a bang for your buck.... and a few more days.
