I'm going a little crazy right now...in a good way! My DS-260 is available!!!!YAY ...and I'm scrambling trying to get the information together! Ugh..I was supposed to do this in advance!

Luckily my sweet husband is doing his part very well, he got the photos and all the docs to me very quickly.

Fill in the jobs exactly like you did on your G-325A you want to be matching for sure. Attached a coverletter explaining gaps. Leave nothing to their imagination.

Don't worry about gaps with employment. The only time gaps are a problem is with addresses.

I had gaps with my employment (it's rare to have back-to-back employment between jobs). I didn't make a note in the cover letter or anything and had NO problems!

And as long as you get the DS-260 done, that's what counts No matter how long it takes!

1. If you got a new case number, yes, I'd write it. Maybe don't cross out the old one though, just in case (or cross it out by just putting one line through it, so it's still visible if needed).

2. If you have a new passport, send a copy of that one's bio-data page. And yes, definitely send a copy of your residence visa (front and back). If you don't, then you'll get issued a checklist for it. (Make sure you bring your residence visa with you to the interview by the way, they may want to see it).

3. Is the Abu Dhabi a hard place to interview? If it is, then yes, send proof of relationship with the IV package. If it's not that hard, then just bring the proof of relationship with you to the interview. If you do decide to send pictures, then just write "Proof of relationship" on the cover letter in the appropriate place.

Yeah I call about twice a week, but I also check the timelines of VJers to get a rough estimate of where the NVC is processing. It's not 100% accurate of course because VJers make up a tiny percentage of the overall applications at NVC, but it's good for estimating.

That's good Calling them everyday adds more frustration and makes your wait time lot more painful then if you call them only once or twice in a week. Good luck!

Once or twice a week are you mad. LOL. I must call everyday just to say high and you are doing a good job. You can feel their smile through the phone. Yes some have no sense of humor.Even through all my turmoil of case not there I would kid and say "it's in the box right by yoru desk". No laugh no haha Lord cyborgs I swear.

Since you don't need to send the NOA2 to NVC or need it at the interview, no, it's not necessary to have received. It's just good to have for your records.

Definitely no need to worry
